CBS Newsletter - November League Action Re-Cap!

Where did time go? It’s December…

A review of November leagues, highlights, & new events to look forward to.

We hope everyone’s Holiday season is going well and that you are enjoying time with family while gearing up for Winter!

This coming Winter we have space in a a few leagues that could be added to your exercise & social routines!

Pickleball: We’ve opened another Night of Indoor Pickleball! This Pickleball league plays on Sundays at the Maine Basketball Academy @ Steven’s Square starting 12/10 (Last minute space available).

Indoor Golf: Give Indoor Golf a try! FRIDAY Indoor golf @ X-Golf in Portland starts just after the NEW YEAR (January 5th)! Afternoon tee times, Bar & Grill onsite, stats, & more!

Fun Fact: For our 15th year anniversary, we’re throwing a PARTY: January 12th starting at 6:30 pm at Three Dollar Dewey’s! More details to come, but mark your calendars, invite your teammates & RSVP HERE!

Welcome Back Floor Hockey!

We’re psyched because Coed Floor Hockey is BACK! You have some time to sign up because League starts on January 10th! But don’t wait too long, we expect it to be popular this Winter! This League is held at Boys & Girls Clubs of South Portland. There are some specific rules and equipment needed, so check out our website for details! You can also reach out to us with any further questions!

Bowling Championships

Bowling finished off the Fall sessions at the beginning of November. We had different leagues and divisions playing which means several champions were crowned! We’re giving a shout-out to the GoodNYou Crew from Division C because one of their bowlers was on FIRE, It felt like he couldn’t miss! Very impressive! Congrats to all our Fall Bowling Champions!

Dodgeball Championships

And there was one. The championship game was a nail biter! The hits kept going back and forth and ended in a tie, which led to sudden death OT! With one person left on each side, both of them threw and both got hit! The odds for this to happen are very slim. Don’t Leddy the Air Out of My Tire tops their opponent and won the Tuesday Dodgeball Championship!

I.T.W.P Championship

If you don’t know what I.T.W.P stands for, it’s Inner Tube Water Polo! Second ranked Totally Tabular takes home the Championship Cup! All games were exciting and we’re glad the return of I.T.W.P. had a great vibe this season. We do have another League scheduled, but after the Cape swim team season is finished…. The next session starts February 21st!
