Registration Process

Casco Bay Sports offers something for everyone with 10+ different sports programs with multiple seasons of play, annual social events, tournaments and more......

How League Registration Works

For the majority of our leagues, Full Team and/or Free Agent registration is available.  Each league page has it's own registration links. Once registered for the league, questions may arise.  Please feel free to contact your league administrator anytime during the process.

As the league start date approaches, team placement is made and schedules are created.  Free Agents will either be placed with a new group or to an existing roster in need of some players.

Sportsmanship Policy

Sportsmanship is important to us as well as our members. We ask that all of our players abide by the rules of the game and behave in a manner that is fitting of a friendly competitive environment. We do reserve the right to ask players or teams to cease playing. It is in the best interest to keep the leagues fun and exercise friendly while balancing an appreciation of competition.

Payment Policy

Free Agent Registrations - Fully refundable if team placement is not available

Full Team Registrations - Team deposits are required to reserve space in specific leagues.  Full Team Balances are due on first day or night of play.  If team is not paid in full, late fees are applied.  If team is not paid in full by week two, they are subsequently removed from league.

All registration fees are non-refundable once the league has started. Registering for a team is a commitment to participate in the full season.

In some cases, we may need to delay the start of the league. This may be due to teams needing more time to complete their rosters, playing facilities having schedule conflicts, weather, or other unforseen circumstances. We reserve the right to delay league starts, and will incorporate all planned games into the revised schedule to the best of our ability. Delayed season starts are not grounds for a refund.

In the case of excessive cancelled games due to weather, or any other circumstances causing a reduction in the number of games played, there will be no refund or credit for games not played. CBS reserves the right to host games on days other than a normal day of regular season play, and at alternate times and locations from those originally designated if necessary.

Should a league be cancelled entirely, players have the option to transfer to another league, or hold a credit to be used for a future season.

Refunds will only be processed in the event that Casco Bay Sports staff has to cancel a league or activity, and no alternate leagues for that sport are available within the following 12 months.  If an unforeseen circumstance should occur and we have to cancel a specific sport in that time frame, we will offer options, including a refund, to anyone directly affected by the cancellation.
